Mark Wilson is the songwriter and storyteller behind Hobo News—a country-music project built around real experiences, working-class life and the stories people carry with them.

For more than 25 years, Wilson has written songs about heartbreak, hard work, regret, grief, small-town gossip and the dreams that keep people moving forward. His writing combines the honesty of traditional country, the grit of outlaw country and the familiarity of a conversation with an old friend.
